The fifth main entry in the Halo series was released worldwide on October 27, 2015 exclusively for Xbox One. Upon release, Halo 5 received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise directed at its gameplay, visuals, level design and multiplayer modes. However, there were many reasons to complain as the game's single-player campaign was way too short with a pretty lackluster ending.
Just announced Halo: Infinite has a chance to right these wrongs and we will see the return of Master Chief, who's on the quest to save mankind. In the Halo universe, The Infinity is the ship UNSC built using Forerunner technology which was heavily featured in the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5. The original purpose of the ship was to be a mobile colony vessel in case of societal collapse during the days of the Human-Covenant war. The ship was last seen losing power after Cortana took control of all AIs at the end of Halo 5.
