A lot of Xbox fans will be happy to know — and perhaps a little bit jealous, as well — that Microsoft's Phil Spencer has already made the upcoming Project Scarlett his primary console; revealing that he's even playing it at home.
Spencer also went on to say that he's been using the Elite Series 2 controller to play on his "Xbox Scarlett", and that he's been having a blast; thanking the team who's worked on the project and promising that "2020 is going to be an incredible year."
Much like the Xbox One, which allowed players to pretty much connect to everything — hence the One in the name, as it is the one machine they'd need to do everything — Project Scarlett is aiming to take everything that works and even push it a little further.
The fact that Project Scarlett, as revealed by Spencer, is functional enough for it to be his primary console these days is definitely a good sign. Project Scarlett is expected to release at some point during Holiday next year, and it seems that, at this rate, we may see Microsoft unveiling the console even before the E3; something that makes a lot of sensee.
