The first of
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's beta weekends took place a couple of days ago but its second will be kicking off today at 10am PT.
Players can experience the game a month before it's proper release. However, there's only a limited amount of gamemodes, maps, and weapons that are available in the beta. The level-cap was set at ten for the first half of the event but was bumped up to twenty for the second half. We don't currently know whether it will be raised again for the coming weekend.
According to the upcoming game's official Twitter account (
@CallofDuty), those who have managed to reach level 10 during the beta will be rewarded with a special and seemingly exclusive weapon. The Hammer Shotgun features a cool aesthetic and will be provided to players come launch, allowing them a slight advantage over those who didn't reach the requirement during the beta.
Below you can check out the tweet in question and the weapon that's up for grabs:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25th, 2019.
