Mass Effect Legendary Edition is one of 2021's most anticipated titles. And fans eager to replay the beloved sci-fi trilogy can reserve their copy as early as today.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is now available for pre-order despite not having an actual release date. It was only just announced last month with a Spring 2021 launch window.
Even though the announcement was made the same month that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X launched, Mass Effect Legendary Edition is actually only set to release for PS4, Xbox One and PC. However, it will still be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X with "targeted enhancements."
Mass Effect Legendary Edition isn't just a collection of the first three games in the trilogy. It's a complete remaster of Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, optimized for 4K UHD. Also included alongside the base games are all of the DLC and Promo weapons, armors, and packs.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition can be pre-ordered at most major retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. So far it doesn't appear that any sort of pre-order bonus is being given, although that could change if EA makes some sort of official announcement regarding pre-order availability. For die-hard fans of Mass Effect, simply being able to replay the Commander Shephard saga in 4K is bonus enough.
