One of the most highly anticipated releases in the video game market, right now, is Microsoft's Xbox Series X and S. Sparing no expense, the consoles already contain some of the best gaming technology around and is the first console to include both Dolby Atmos and Vision!
With the power of a high-end computer getting ready to sit in a person's living room, and games that run so well they look like a live-action film, a lot of memory will be taken up. While the X holds 1TB and the S holds 512gbs, people may be surprised how fast the memory will fill up! Luckily there is a workaround for that!
With the help of Seagate, a company that distributes memory accessories for Microsoft, there has been confirmation of a brand new 1TB expansion coming for the new console! Roughly the size of a memory card, the device ports into the back of the console and allows for even more storage so that fans won't have to worry about deleting games any time soon.
Confirmed to release with the console, pre-orders are also going to be available for the expansion. With a retail price of $219, the cost may be a little high but ultimately worth it in the end. We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
The Xbox Series X and S will launch on November 10th for $499 and $299, respectively. The Seagate 1TB expansion is available for pre-order here at $219 and is expected to release the same day as the consoles!
