New Marvel's Avengers video game expansion, set to hit next month, revolves around King T'Challa, the Black Panther, and will include two new villains!
Square Enix anonounced that Marvel’s Avengers Expansion: Black Panther – War for Wakanda is set to launch on August 17 as a free update to all owners of the core game. An all-access weekend for Marvel’s Avengers runs now through August 1 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC. After the all-access weekend is over, those who buy the game will carry over all progress and purchases on the same platform they enjoyed during the event!
The storyline of the Black Panther - War for Wakanda expansion revolves around King T'Challa, the current Black Panther and ruler of Wakanda. A devoted protector who was blindsided by betrayal and tragedy. T'Challa finds it hard to trust this duty to anyone else, including his sister, Shuri. He confronts all those who wish to do Wakanda harm. T'Challa takes the fight right to arch-villain Klaw when his forces threaten Wakanda's safety and way of life, by defending everything and everyone he holds dear.
Players can experience the lush jungles of Wakanda, a beatiful new environment and the only known source of the world’s Vibranium, an unusual metallic element. They can also explore the Royal Palace that overlooks "The Golden City", a new outpost that houses Shuri’s laboratory, the Wakandan War Room, and Zawavari’s chambers. This expansion will add the most content to the Marvel’s Avengers game since its launch.
Marvel’s Avengers is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Stadia.
