Nintendo Switch owners who have been anticipating the release of Gears for Breakfast's critically well-received
A Hat in Time will have to keep waiting a little longer; or at least the ones who pre-ordered a physical copy of the game.
Gears for Breakfast announced, earlier today, that
A Hat in Time's physical release on the Nintendo Switch has been delayed and will not be releasing this month, as initially planned, but on the
8th of November instead. The delay was revealed to have occured due to a manufacturing issue.
The good news is that the digital version of
A Hat in Time will still be releasing on schedule, becoming available for players to purchase, from the Nintendo Switch eShop, on the
18th of October.
In A Hat in Time you play as a tiny space-travelling girl with a big tophat. Her adventure is halted when all her fuel, the Time Pieces, is lost and scattered across a nearby planet. Hat Kid must now jump, fight and stitch new hats to make her way into every nook and cranny of this new world in order to restore her fuel and resume her journey. On her way, she'll bump into the menacing Mafia of Cooks, the goofy birds of Dead Bird Studio, the spooky shadows of Subcon Forest, and more!
A Hat in Time will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch on the 18th of October.
