Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is Koji Igarashi's
Castlevania spiritual successor, which released last week for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam; with the Nintendo Switch actually releasing
today.
Upon the game's launch last week, some players started reporting that their save files were being completely deleted; something that 505 Games took immediate notice of and set out to fix. The Nintendo Switch version, releasing a week later, already was starting to get some players concerned, and the issues on other platforms only made this worse.
As it turns out, the Nintendo Switch version of
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was released today for the Nintendo Switch, and fans immediately were left disappointed by the game's overall performance; deeming the Nintendo Switch game the worst version of all.
505 Games has recently addressed the performance issues that players are reporting on the Nintendo Switch version of the game, stating that they are working on making the game run smoothly; shifting their focus to fixing these issues with a series of small updates for the Nintendo Switch.
While it is disappointing that Nintendo Switch owners have not been able to enjoy
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, it is nice to see the developer immediately addressing fan concerns and focusing on fixing these issues as soon as possible.
