Independent developer Traxmaster Software has recently announced a new 2.5D action game with platforming elements titled
Exception, which will see players taking controlled of a character in charge of getting rid of a virus inside of the computer of an old woman(no, seriously) in what looks to be an incredibly fun game.
The trailer alone pretty much gives away everything we need to know about the gameplay style in
Exception, but the most interesting aspect is how the developers have managed to make this virtual world even more interesting; not only visually, but also by having levels be as dynamic as possible.
To illustrate, what
Exception does is have players speed through some meaze-like 2D levels set in a 3D world. Within the world there are some sphere-like portals, which will make these levels transform and reveal more challenges.
Exception also features nearly two hours of Synthwave music, as appreciated in the trailer, that fits the game's chaotic, and action-packed atmosphere almost too perfectly; making for an even more interesting experience.
As revealed in the announcement trailer,
Exception will be released for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam) at some point
this Summer.
Check it out:
When an old woman's computer system is taken over by a virus bent on total annihilation, you assume control of an ordinary software program transformed into an elite combat machine. Retake the system and build your character into a formidable instrument of retribution.
Exception will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam) this Summer.
