As is typically the case when Marvel releases a new movie, all of the associated mobile games receive an update. The latest is
Spider-Man: Far From Home, which swings into theaters next Tuesday, July 2.
Ahead of its theatrical release,
Marvel Contest of Champions, Marvel Puzzle Quest,
MARVEL Strike Force,
Marvel Future Fight, and
MARVEL Battle Lines are all getting new content inspired by the blockbuster film. Some of the new content is already live, while some games may be updated within the next few days. Check out the highlights below.
The Spidey celebration in
Marvel Puzzle Quest, D3GO!'s match-three game, actually kicked off last week with the release of Black Cat (Master Thief). Next week, the Spider-Man "Stealth Suit" costume will be added to the game on July 2, with Mysterio entering the fray on July 4. Additional in-game events, including a Spider-Man themed Boss Event, will take place over the next few days.
In Nexon's strategic card battling game,
MARVEL Battle Lines, we're getting new cards based on
Spider-Man: Homecoming, including new Spider-Man and Vulture cards. In July, cards inspired by
Far From Home, including Mysterio, Spider-Man (Hybrid suit),and various Elementals such as Molten Man, Hydro-Man, and more will be added.
Marvel Future Fight is getting the new Hybrid Suit and Stealth Suit for Spider-Man, while Mysterio is also getting a Movie Suit. Hydro-Man and Molten Man will also be coming to the game.
Mysterio, Shocker, Rhino, and Vulture are joining the strategy RPG,
MARVEL Strike Force, this week. Lastly,
Marvel Contest of Champions, Kabam's mobile fighting game, is kicking the contest up a notch with the addition of Mysterio on July 11 and Spider-Man (Stealth Suit) on July 25.
All of these games are free-to-play and available on iOS and Android.
