Niantic has been pretty steady about their Community Days since they first introduced them into
Pokémon Go, but this time they have decided to change up the usual routine.
Normally up until now when
Pokémon Go has had an event, each region had to track their own times by converting North American PT times to their own. For this one, however, (and presumably those going forward), the March Community Day Event will be from 3-6 PM local time, making it easier for Trainers to remember when to get out and play.
March's Community Day Event will take place on
March 23rd and will feature a Grass/Type Starter Pokémon from
Ruby and Sapphire, Treecko. As usual, they will be all over the place, with the chance of a shiny popping up. Also, any Treeckos who are evolved into their third evolution, Sceptile up to an hour after the March Community Day Event ends will learn a specific move only available at that time. Possible Frenzy Plant due to Niantic's past actions, but no confirmations as of yet.
In the meantime, Latias has decided to stick around a while longer, appearing in Raid Battles until
March 1st. Get out there and grab one before it's too late!
