There have been countless LEGO videogames over the years. So much so that you would be hard-pressed to name them all off the top of our head. TT Fusion, a branch of TT Games, developed The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game based on the animated movie of the same name.
Both The LEGO Ninjago Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game released in 2017. It's one of the few movie tie-in video games of recent memory. In keeping with essentially every other LEGO video game; The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game takes place in a world made out of LEGO. Over one-hundred playable characters are available to unlock.
From a third-person perspective, players take on a variety of LEGO enemies, solve puzzles, and collect studs (the game's currency). However, unlike other LEGO video games which feature two-player co-operative modes, The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game allowed for up to four players to play the "Battle Maps" mode at once.
Well, WB Games has announced (via @WBGames) that The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game is now available for free on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. While the LEGO game is available on the Nintendo Switch, it seems that this offer doesn't apply on that platform. The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will be available for free until May 21st.
Should you purchase your copy before then, it's yours to keep. After that, The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will be reverted back to its usual price point. It seems that this offer applies to both North America and Europe but it's unclear whether it's applicable to other continents.
