Ubisoft announced, back in September of last year, that
Assassin's Creed Odyssey Season Pass owners would be getting a remastered edition of the 2012
Assassin's Creed III. This new remastered edition would be enhancing the game's graphics and was annnounced for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
While the announcement did not include Nintendo's handheld hybrid console, rumors started doing the rounds claiming that Ubisoft was, indeed, planning on releasing a bundle that included
Assassin's Creed III and
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, although this was never confirmed by the developer.
A couple of days ago, Ubisoft updated the information on the
Assassin's Creed III Remastered website, unofficially confirming that the game was also going to be making its way into the Nintendo Switch.
Today Ubisoft has finally confirmed that
Assassin's Creed III Remastered will be coming to the Nintendo Switch with some Switch-enhanced features not present in the other versions. The game, however, will not be releasing on the 29th of March like on other platforms, but on the
21st of May.
Much like the other versions of
Assassin's Creed III Remastered, the Nintendo Switch version will also be including all of the game's DLCs, as well as
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation — all in one package — with the difference that players will be able to relive the American Revolution on-the-go.
Take a look:
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered comes to Nintendo Switch on May 21! Relive the American Revolution or experience it for the first time in Assassin's Creed® III Remastered, with Switch enhanced features.
Assassin's Creed III: Remastered will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 21st of May.
