The vast universe of
Assassin's Creed is officially coming to
For Honor, Ubisoft just announced in this week's
The Warrior's Den livestream. Starting today,
For Honor will get a serious dose o
f Assassin’s Creed in its first-ever crossover event, quite cleverly titled
For The Creed. The limited-time event kicks off today, December 20, and runs through January 10, 2019, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
In
For the Creed, Abstergo's employees have transformed the
For Honor experience with a new
Assassin’s Creed-themed twist on Dominion mode, new map visuals, and new outfits, gear, executions, and emotes, creating a fresh gaming playground out of reliving the genetic memories of
For Honor’s battle-hardened factions of Knights, Vikings, Samurai, and the recently introduced Wu Lin Heroes.
Assassin’s Creed characters like
Brotherhood's Ezio Auditore and Cesare Borgia will appear as commanders in Dominion with massive health pools and devastating area area-of-effect swings. According to the French studio, these commanders won’t be easy to take out, but doing so nets your team 300 points and propels you that much closer to victory. The mode's rules are relatively simple - the first team to reach 1,000 points and successfully eliminate all opposing team members wins.
In addition to new heroes,
For the Creed will introduce players to three reimagined maps that will feature characteristic Animus glitches and Assassin and Templar banners and flags, as all minions will represent a faction specific to the
Assassin’s Creed world. During your playthrough, you will have a chance to listen to Warren Vidic, director of the Animus Project, who has taken over as match narrator.
For the Creed will naturally give you a unique opportunity to customize your
For Honor warrior using some all-new
AC-themed tools, including Connor’s iconic tomahawk from
Assassin’s Creed III and other cosmetic items from the
