Could Clementine Make The Leap From THE WALKING DEAD Video Games To TV?

After three seasons of The Walking Dead, Clementine has become a real fan-favourite character, but could she be about to make the leap from the video games to the comic books or AMC TV series?

Telltale Games' The Walking Dead has now had three successful seasons, but it's only ever really been very loosely connected to the comic book series it's based on. However, now that Clementine has crossed paths with Jesus in The Walking Dead: New Frontier, it sounds like she could be about to make the leap to the page - or TV screen - any day now, and that's exciting news for fans of the game series.

Responding to a fan in a recent issue of The Walking Dead, Skybound's Sean Mackiewicz dropped some hints about the character getting the spotlight outside of that episodic video game at some point.

"Telltale’s latest installment of their [‘The Walking Dead’] game series, ‘The New Frontier,’ occurs during the time jump after [‘The Walking Dead’] #126. So a lot could happen before she ever appeared," he said. "And that’s not me trying to be coy. I have no idea… yet. It takes time to write those things." So, we probably shouldn't keep our eyes peeled for a casting call any time soon, but it sounds like there may be something in store for her in future. We're just going to have to wait and see.
