THE WALKING DEAD: A NEW FRONTIER Won't Be Released On The PS3 Or Xbox 360
If you still haven't decided to upgrade to the current generation of consoles and happen to be a fan of The Walking Dead, then we have some very disappointing news for you today. Hit the jump for details!
Telltale has confirmed today that The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will not be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. That marks a first for the franchise, but don't fret, as the developer has revealed how you can import your existing save files. To carry over your progress from the first two seasons, you'll need to access that through your older console and upload those to the cloud. Sounds pretty complicated, right? Well, they've thankfully offered some helpful step by step instructions.
"If you would like to import a complete save from The Walking Dead – Season Two to a different platform than you originally played the game, you will need to download and install the latest patch for The Walking Dead – Season Two. Your device will need to be online in order to download the latest patch. Once your game is patched, you will see a new option to Upload your existing save on the in-game ‘Save Files’ menu. The Walking Dead – Season Two save you wish to use must be a complete season save to import to The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. You will also need a Telltale account to complete this process, which can be created for FREE at anytime by going to www.telltale.com."
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier kicks off on December 20th, so stay tuned for more before then.
