DEVIL MAY CRY 5 SPECIAL EDITION Gets Action-Packed Trailer That Reminds Players The Game Launches Tomorrow

Capcom has shared an action-packed trailer for Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, reminding players that the next-gen version of the critically acclaimed title is launching tomorrow.

Devil May Cry 5 is one of the many series-revival titles that Capcom launched in recent years, and the game was very well-received upon release back in March of last year, so it was only natural to see the developer announcing that the game was also being released on next-gen platforms.

The next-gen version of the critically acclaimed hack and slash isn't just a mere re-release, as Capcom has upped the game's resolution, and revealed that they have added Dante's twin brother Vergil as a playable character, which means Vergil will be playable on story missions, Bloody Palace, and The Void.

For those of you wondering, Vergil will also be added to the original version Devil May Cry 5 via paid DLC, although Capcom has confirmed that this won't be arriving until next month; becoming available on Tuesday the 15th of December, to be more precise.

Today, Capcom has released an action-packed trailer for Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, reminding players that the next-gen version of the critically acclaimed hack and slash will finally become available tomorrow. Well, on Xbox Series X|S, since the PlaYStation 5 will release on Thursday the 12th of November alongside Sony's next-gen console.

It is also worth mentioning that Capcom announced that Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will be getting a physical release, but this will not become available just yet, so players who want to own a physical copy of the game will have to wait until Friday the 1st of December to get their copy.

Take a look:

Several years after the Order of the Sword incident, a new demonic threat has invaded our world. It's up to the legendary devil hunters Dante and Nero to stop it, with the newcomer V joining forces with them. These three men's fates are tied together in mysterious and surprising ways. In Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, blistering speed meets impeccable control for an incredibly tight gameplay experience as you work your way through the thrilling story. This optimized version of the original release represents the pinnacle of stylish action and was recognized with numerous game awards!

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will release for the Xbox Series X|S on Tuesday the 10th of November and for the PlayStation 5 on Thursday the 12th of November.
