Being an open world action-adventure game through and through,
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot aims to recapture all of the elements that have made
Dragon Ball such an iconic series — while also adding new quests that expand on the world that Akira Toriyama created.
From Raditz arrival on Earth up until the exciting battle against Majin Buu,
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will see players reliving all of the events in the
Dragon Ball Z series; from exploring the game's vast open world to fighting some of the most powerful villains that our heroes have faced.
The Thailand Game Show 2019 took place just a few days ago, and Bandai Namco was there to share some more gameplay for
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot; this time introducing us to the desert area of the game, and even showing us a heated battle between Majin Vegeta and Majin Buu.
What's even more interesting is that, while exploring the desert, we can see that there will be a subquest dedicated to Nam — who fans may remember as one of the fighters from the original tournaments in the classic
Dragon Ball series; a character that was not seen in
Dragon Ball Z except for a small cameo in one of the last episodes.
UPDATE: Bandai Namco has just released the official gameplay video for
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which has the exact same footage seen in the Thailand Game Show 2019, although we still encourage you to watch the footage from the event, as the presenters do a good job explaining what's happening.
Take a look:
