Monolith Productions will soon release the second story-driven DLC for Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Desolation of Mordor, that will offer a fresh campaign mode and a new protagonist, Baranor, a sergeant and the frontline commander of Gondor's last doomed stronghold in Mordor, Minas Ithil. The DLC will also feature a plenty of side missions with dwarf hunter Torvin, and new mercenaries and bodyguards.
Desolation of Mordor will introduce the brand new harsh desert region of Mordor, Desert of Lithlad. It is a great plain located to the south-east of Gorgoroth. Volcanoes enriched the area with large amount of ash, which has made the ground perfect for dry-land farming. That's exactly where a dangerous Orc threat that is forming, forcing players to take action and fight for Mordor one more time.
Captain of Minas Ithil Baranor who has escaped from the ruined city and reunited with his long-lost brother Serka will be our new protagonist. Together, they will hire an army of mercenaries, survive an all-new desert environment, conquer a marauder fortress, and kill a ton of orcs along the way.
