Funcom is a rapidly growing publisher best known for Conan: Exiles. Today the cinematic reveal trailer for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden has finally been shown to the gaming community.
Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is a tactical adventure game that's geared towards fans of games like XCOM. It is a fusion of turn-based combat with real-time exploration. In addition, Development is spearheaded by The Bearded Ladies, a new company made up of former Hitman and Payday employees.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where, as a result of a nuclear conflict, the earth's remaining population mutated into human/animal hybrids. The trailer has an interesting Kafka-esque quality, and the studio assures us that the storyline will be deep.
