Set in 2048 Berlin, this dystopian future is running out of natural resources and run by robots where nobodies privacy is safe.  The main character is a journalist who begins asking too many questions and after his family goes missing, finds himself right in the middle of everything.  A game with a story mixed with a little Minority Report and Blade Runner, coupled with a unique visual style, State of Mind looks to have its players wanting more of the game as they progress.

Daedalic Entertainment, a German-based game developer and publisher, known for the Deponia series and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, have their sights set on releasing another solid story driven adventure game with State of Mind.  The gameplay looks to be very slow and methodical, so if you're looking for action this might not be the game for you.

Here is the trailer for the game:

State of Mind is a futuristic thriller game delving into transhumanism. The game explores themes of separation, disjuncture and reunification, in a world that is torn between a dystopian material reality and a utopian virtual future.

State of Mind is available now on PC (Windows & MacOS), Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch for $29.99 USD.
