E3: Meet The Main Villain Of JUST CAUSE 4 In New Featurette

Disappointing Square Enix's E3 2018 conference brought us more than just Kingdom Hearts III and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Just Cause 4's Rico is back, once again parachuting into some disastrous warzone with both guns and attitude in tow. The new trailer shows off some gameplay featuring plenty of driving, shooting, explosions and weather effects as our hero plunges directly into a tornado.

The game is scheduled for release December 4th on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Avalanche Studios' experiences gained during the troubled development of Mad Max are clearly doing wonders for the Swedish company, as their take on the Rage series made in collaboration with iD Software also contains gameplay mechanisms borrowed from the underappreciated post-apocalyptic sandbox game.

The featurette gives us a chance to meet Just Cause 4's main vialling - Gabriela Morales. The developer also promises that we will uncover the truth of Rico’s father’s past life on Solís’ and its extreme weather as we will spearhead the rebellion to defeat the Black Hand, a hi-tech private military organization that's responsible for Solis and its huge South American terrain troubles. Take a look:

Welcome to Solis, a huge South American world home of conflict, oppression and extreme weather conditions. Just Cause 4 sees rogue hero Rico Rodriguez land in Solis to hunt down the truth about his past, at any costs. Strap into your wingsuit, equip your fully customizable grappling hook, and get ready to bring the thunder!
