Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout launched back in August on both PlayStation 4 and PC. The game is influenced by such obstacle course gameshow as Takeshi's Castle and Total Wipeout. Up to sixty players compete in a series of wacky, competitive levels in effort to eventually be the last contestant standing.

Fall Guys has largely gone without any significant updates since launch beyond daily changes to the cosmetics shop. However, that's about to change. Season 2 will kick off sometime soon and certainly within the month of October. The new season will introduce exciting levels, costumes, and more. What's more, crowns will become more easily obtainable — more on that here.

Those aren't the only changes coming with Season 2. Mediatonic has revealed, via the official Fall Guys Twitter account (@FallGuysGame), that come Season 2 players will have a new outlet to customise their in-game selves. More than just outfits, players will now be able to apply banners and nicknames.

In their recent tweet, Mediatonic show off a couple examples of the upcoming banners and nicknames. Banners include a "Pride" flag, watermelon, pizza, and more. Nicknames include "Free Hugs," "Rookie," "Good Egg," etc. Check it out for yourself below:

Fall Guys Season 2 will bring the dragon fire with feudal fortresses, knockout knights and pugilistic paladins among new additions coming this October. A full season of new costumes, emotes and more will reward players as they lay siege to the Middle Ages.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is now available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
