Check Out Some Frenetic Gameplay Footage of SOUL CALIBUR 6

GameSpot were fortunate to get their hands on Namco's latest brawler and shared the footage. Check out this intense battle between Mitsurugi and Sophitia after the jump.

Fans were over the moon when Namco revealed that a new Soul Calibur was in the works. However, there's still a great deal of work left to be done before we get our hands on the game. Details on the game remain scarce at this time. We do know that it will be the first game in the series to run on the Unreal Engine 4.

To get fans even more excited, 6 minutes of gameplay have been unveiled courtesy of GameSpot. The video below pits confirmed characters Mitsurugi and Sophitia against one another. The footage, captured on PS4, is an impressive showcase for the game's mechanics such as Guard Impact, Soul Charge and Reversal Edge.

Soul Calibur 6 will be released next year for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
