It was early 2018 when the latest Dragon Ball game—Dragon Ball FighterZ—was made available to fans. And now, nearly a year after the title's release, we've learned about an entirely new Dragon Ball project.

According to an official announcement from Bandai Namco, a new Dragon Ball game, currently refered to as Project Z, is in development. Not many details on "Project Z" were revealed, but we did learn that it will be an action RPG.

While we don't have a lot of information on the mysterious RPG, the fact that it's not another fighting game will undoubtedly be pleasant surprise for many fans of the franchise.

Fortunately, if you're anxious to learn more about the project, Bandai Namco teased that more details would be revealed during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals, which run from January 26 to January 27.
