Jump Force is one of the most ambitious crossover fighting games in recent times. The game sees a handful of characters from popular Shōnen Jump series duking it out, from all-time classics like Saint Seiya and Dragon Ball, to newer series like the popular My Hero Academia.
While the crossover may have been ambitious, players were not to convinced with the game itself. In fact, many actually criticised the lack of variety in regards to series and characters being included; with some preferring that the developers at Spike Chunsoft would focus on more obscure characters.
Reviews were also rather lukewarm, with critics praising some aspects like gameplay and presentation, but criticising its repetitive nature. Bandai Namco and and Spike Chunsoft have apparently been taking notes, however, and have been releasing new updates that have managed to enhance the experience.
Earlier this year, the developers announced that the Nintendo Switch would also be getting Jump Force in the form of a Deluxe Edition, and that the game would be including everything that had been added to the game post-launch; making it the definitive edition of the game in terms of content and gameplay.
Considering that Nintendo's handheld hybrid console is a less powerful console than the other platforms the game is available on, Jump Force Deluxe Edition did have to be slightly downgrade in regards to graphics. With that said, the developers have promised that the experience will be the same.
Today, Bandai Namco has shared an action-packed trailer for Jump Force Deluxe Edition for the Nintendo Switch, revealing that the crossover fighting game has finally become available, and showing players all of the features that they will find in the game once they finally get their hands on it.
