Iceborne is what Capcom has called
Monster Hunter World's biggest expansion yet, and from what we've seen from the previous gameplay trailer, they are not exaggerating — as this expansion will be including some new monsters for players to hunt, as well as new environments.
Capcom has also revealed that
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be getting a physical release in the form of the
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition, which includes the base game plus the expansion; making it easier for newcomers to get all of the content without having to purchase the game and then getting its downloadable content.
While we have seen some gameplay for
Iceborne, Capcom had still been very vague about the expansion's story, but today they have released a brand-new, and exciting trailer that tells us a little bit more about this phenomenal expansion's story.
It is also worth mentioning that only the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of
Monster Hunter World will be getting the
Iceborne expansion on the 6th of September, as the PC version is expected to release at a yet-to-be-determined date this Winter.
