Mortal Kombat 11 will be finally available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC later in the month, giving longtime fans of the series a chance to meet their old friends and foes once again. In the recently released TV spot for the upcoming fighting extravaganza, that you can check out below, NetherRealm Studios and WB. Interactive Entertainment have confirmed that Kitana will be playable at launch.

Kitana debuted back in 1993 as a Mortal Kombat II newcomer and has been one of the most popular characters in the series ever since. Considering that the title will give you the opportunity to duke it out with other players and the AI as plenty of already established characters (such as Scorpion, Shao Kahn, Skarlet, and Sonya Blade), but also some never-before-seen contenders (including the god-like Cetrion), it's safe to say that MK11 will be a rather varied experience, at least when it comes to its basic roster.

While Kitana will be rocking her iconic blue outfit in the game, nothing will stop you from customizing the brutal heroin’s suit the way you can only imagine, as MK11 will allow you to personalize all your fighters with some mechanics inspired by NetherRealm's latest video game, the acclaimed Injustice 2.

With MK11 releasing in 15 days, be sure to take a closer look at the Ed Boon-directed title right now:

Mortal Kombat is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise. The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. And featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s best in class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.

Mortal Kombat 11 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 23rd of April; Nintendo Switch version will release on the 10th of May.
