Last week, Bandai Namco revealed that
Rurouni Kenshin's main character Kenshin Himura and Makoto Shishio, one of the series' most iconic villains, were going to be joining the roster in the highly anticipated crossover fighting game
Jump Force.
With the announcement, we only got a few high-resolution screenshots but Bandai Namco didn't really give us a trailer in order ofr us to see Kenshin and Shishio in action; although, by the pics the developer shared, we could see that they had absolutely nailed the aesthetic of the characters—much like they've been doing pretty much since the game was announced.
Today, bandai Namco has finally released a trailer that shows off Rurouni Kenshin's Kenshin and Shishio having a very heated katana showdown at what seems to be the iconic Kamiya Dojo.
The
Rurouni Kenshin series will be joining other iconic Shōnen Jump series like
Dragon Ball,
Naruto,
One Piece,
Yu Yu Hakusho,
Hunter X Hunter,
Yu-Gi-Oh!,
Bleach,
Death Note,
Saint Seiya,
City Hunter, and
Fist of the North Star, when Bandai Namco's
Jump Force is released on the
15th of February.
Take a look:
Universes collide as legendary manga heroes and villains are transported to our reality. Massive battles fill epic locales as good and evil clashes, while humankind hangs in the balance.
Jump Force will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 15th of February.
