SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is SNK and NIS America's next big fighting game that promises to gather some of the best female fighters from various franchises from SNK and have them throwing down to become the
belle of the brawl.
Story-wise, the game still hasn't revealed any details but since it is a fighting game the details usually won't end up mattering. Especially since
SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy seems to favour playing the fan service card rather than focusing on other areas. Not that it is a bad thing, though.
Today, NIS America has released a trailer introducing two new characters that fans of the
The King of Fighters series will recognise right away. We are talking about Sylvie Paula Paula and Zarina who were introduced in
The King of Fighters XIV and are now part of this rather interesting project that's
SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, where we'll see them team up, along with fellow SNK fighters, in some exciting 2 vs 2 fights.
The characters already confirmed are Athena from the game
Athena(1986), Yuri from
Art of Fighting(1992), Mai Shiranui from
Fatal Fury 2(1992), Nakoruru from
Samurai Shodown(1993), and Leona, Shermie, Kula, Kukri, Sylvie and Zarina from
The King of Fighters series.
SNK's toughest female fighters are pitted against one another in a brand-new 2 vs 2 fighting game! With a streamlined control system and unique KO mechanic, this is a fighting game built for fans of all levels of experience. The perfect dream match starts here!
SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy will be available for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on the 7th of September.
