SNK has been releasing quite a bit of content for the brand-new Samurai Shodown, their upcoming reboot for their acclaimed sword-fighting series; from story and gameplay trailers, to new videos that reveal returning characters and newcomers to the long-running series.

Just earlier today, SNK released a gameplay trailer for the game, which gave us a pretty good idea of what to expect from the next entry in the Samurai Shodown series. Given that this game is a reboot, some things are expected to remain intact, like some of the returning characters and their classic movesets.

The latest character trailer for Samurai Shodown actually focuses on Genjuro, one of the veteran fighters that have been part of the sword-fighting series since the second game in the series; becoming Haohmaru's sworn enemy ever since.

After more than a decade, Samurai Shodown is back! SNK is rebooting one of its most successful series, carrying on the legacy of past titles with a new game that retains the same thrilling battles of past titles in a graphically advanced package.

Samurai Shodown will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC in on the 25th of June.
