SNK seems to be on the right track, and they have been for quite a while now, when it comes to adding extra content to
Samurai Shodown. Since the game is a soft reboot of sorts, the developers have taken the liberty to add a lot of characters from previous entries in the sword-fighting series without messing with its continuity.
At launch, Samurai Shodown already had a pretty solid line-up of fighters available for players to choose from, but SNK also revealed that they were adding a bunch of free characters, as well as other fighters that are part of the game's Season Pass.
Today, SNK has released a trailer for
Samurai Shodown's second season pass, which introduces players to
Samurai Shodown V's Mina Majikina,
Samurai Shodown IV's Sogetsu Kazama, and Iroha from
Samurai Shodown VI.
While the developer revealed only three fighters, there is still one new character to be unveiled. They did, however, reveal that Mina Majikina will be releasing at some point in February of this year, so maybe SNK reveals who the remaining character is in Mina's release trailer.
