Borderlands 3 is expanding the adventure beyond Pandora with Gearbox giving us a sneak peek at one of the new planets we'll be visiting.

Promethea is home to the Atlas corporation headquarters - a "metropolitan world covered in futurist towers of chrome and glass." As its planetary profile details: "A recent siege by Maliwan has turned the urban environment into a warzone; their mechanized infantry patrol the streets, rodent/insect hybrids known as Ratches infest the sewers and back-alleys, and the Children of the Vault are seizing the opportunity to recruit displaced and disgruntled citizens. Atlas CEO Rhys Strongfork is getting desperate."

Promethea is joined by the familiar Pandora as two of the worlds we'll be visiting in Borderlands 3. The other two planets have yet to be revealed.

Gearbox also revealed this week  some special cosmetic packs and weapon skins that are included in the Borderlands 3 Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions. You can check those out here.

The looting and shooting begins when Borderlands 3 releases on September 13 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
