There's no denying that
Borderlands 3 and
Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition’s announcements at yesterday's PAX East 2019 panel, hosted by Gearbox Software, were the two biggest reveals of the whole conference. While it wasn’t as big, the fact that the long-rumored Nintendo Switch edition of People Can Fly's underrated
Bulletstorm was also announced last night shouldn't be brushed aside.
Yes, Nintendo Switch users will finally have a chance to unleash mayhem in
Bulletstorm, that is coming to the console this summer. According to People Can Fly, more details on the game will be revealed soon, probably during the upcoming Nintendo Direct at E3 2019. Titled
Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition, the shooter will feature all previously-released content, a special New Game+ mode, and more.
Considering that the recently announced Switch port of the game is called
Duke of Switch Edition, it shouldn’t' be surprising that you will be able to play through the main campaign as Duke Nukem, featuring full voice over and brand-new lines from Jon St. John, the original voice of Duke. That mode debuted in
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, the remaster of the 2011 hit, but it's still a welcome addition.
Featuring updated hi-res textures, increased polygon counts, sterling audio, smoother frame rates, and running in up to 4K resolution on PC and PS4 Pro, this definitive version of the action-packed, critically-acclaimed FPS comes with all of its previously-released DLC along with brand-new content. And for the first time ever, players will get the chance to play Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition as the iconic Duke Nukem. Featuring a fully rerecorded script and brand new lines from the voice of Duke, Jon St. John, the Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm Tour add-on content will replace main character Grayson Hunt with The King himself and provide players with a whole new butt-kicking perspective on the cult-classic shooter.
Bulletstorm is currently available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, coming to Nintendo Switch this summer.
