Activision Shares Rise After Good Reviews OF COD: BLACK OPS 4

Developers Activision's first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, has made the company's shares rise from receiving good reviews from fans and critics. Here is more information.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has a beta going on in PlayStation 4 - soon it will reach the othe platforms - and Blackout, the game's battle royale mode, has been well received by the community. It is not only impressing the players, but also the financial analysts.

According to CNBC, Activision shares closed 7% higher than on Tuesday, just one day after starting the Blackout beta.

Mike Hickey, an analyst at Benchmark, has commented to investors that the reception of the beta has exceeded their expectations and that it may rival Epic Games' Fortnite, although the latter is free.

According to this firm, Blackout has the potential for Activision to achieve annual sales of 500 million dollars.

Black Ops 4 also maintains success on Twitch, where it has reached 400,000 simultaneous viewers. In addition, today the increase of the 80 maximum players has been announced to 88, approaching the standard of Fortnite and PUBG, 100 players.

Black Ops 4 will arrive on October 12th on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
