A new map is coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops IV, Activision has announced. This time, you will be able to play it only in Blackout, but the fact that it's Alcatraz-based should compensate that inconvenience.

While the map will be available for PS4 tomorrow, those who play on an Xbox One or PC will have to wait for it for quite some time as the company hasn't revealed when the map will launch on the other platforms. As you may know, Alcatraz is the island prison off the coast of San Francisco, California.

While the infamous prison was formally closed in 1963, it still is a highly popular destination of tourist from all over the globe. The fact that Michael Bay's The Rock (starring Nicolas Cage, Sean Connery, and Ed Harris) was set in that exact location probably only helped in making the old prison so attractive.

The trailer for the new map also reveals that all PS4 gamers will be able to play the battle royale mode for free throughout April, but I'm willing to bet that there are some restrictions to that promotion (it's unclear if it applies only to the PS4 version of the game).
