While Red Dead Redemption 2 has had quite the launch, it's still been ousted from the top-spot by the newest instalment in the Call of Duty franchise - at least on the PlayStation side of things.

A new post on the PlayStation blog has revealed the most downloaded games of last month for the PlayStation 4 console - as mentioned, Black Ops 4 holds the top spot.

Though they're the front-runners, Red Dead 2 and Black Ops 4 weren't the only major releases in October as Assassin's Creed Odyssey also officially dropped last month, hence its placement at number three. FIFA 19 and Marvel's Spider-Man have both remained in the top-ten since September. And, with Battlefield V on the horizon, its predecessor has seen a resurgence and stolen the number five spot.

You can read the top-ten list below:
  1. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
  2. Red Dead Redemption 2
  3. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
  4. FIFA 19
  5. Battlefield 1
  6. Marvel’s Spider-Man
  7. NBA 2K19
  8. Soul Calibur VI
  9. Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night + Rondo of Blood
  10. WWE 2K19
What do you think of the list? Did you contribute to Black Ops 4 or Red Dead 2's top spots?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
