Treyarch recently shared the patch notes for the 1.08 title update on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 subreddit.

There, the studio outlines the various fixes and improvements they've made to the overall game. And while most changes and improvements were made to the Zombies and Multiplayer modes, atop the post Treyarch tease "big changes" are on the horizon for Blackout.

For our Blackout players: prepare for big changes coming to the game. We’ve got an extensive set of features, events, and more surprises planned for the future of Blackout, and we’re excited to share more details on everything coming in our next update in a dedicated post later this week.

Given game director David Vonderhaar's recent tweets, and now this tease; it seems likely that Blackout's map is set to be altered a bit - a la Fortnite. As well as map changes, Vonderhaar also recently teased the ability to dress your weaponary with camos, so expect that too.

What do you think of Treyarch's tease? Would you like to see Blackout's map be updated?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
