Ahead of Activision's
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies panel at San Diego Comic-Con this week, the publisher has released a new trailer for the fan-favorite mode. The new "Chaos" story trailer provides some context for
Black Ops 4's Zombies mode, which is said to be the most robust Zombies offering ever with three full experiences at launch.
As previously detailed, the three Zombies experiences will be
IX, Voyage of Despair and
Blood of the Dead (inspired by
Black Ops 2's
Mob of the Dead). The new trailer not only shows us glimpses of each of the three Zombies experiences but teases how they are all connected via an overarching storyline that focuses on
“an ancient order hell-bent on transforming the world to fulfill their nefarious agenda.”
Scarlett Rhodes is out to solve her eccentric father’s mysterious disappearance. With the help of three loyal outcasts, she’ll fight waves of the undead and uncover a prized relic wielding an extraordinary power that threatens all of humanity.

panel at San Diego Comic-Con this week on Thursday, July 19. The hour-long panel will feature Treyarch's Jason Blundell (director, Zombies) and Craig Houston (lead writer) as they celebrate the 10-year anniversary of
Call of Duty's Zombies and talk about what's next for the mode in
Black Ops 4. The panel promises never-before-seen footage, exciting special announcements, and Q&A.
Zombies is only one aspect of
Black Ops 4 's multiplayer. It will be joined by the traditional competitive multiplayer modes as well as a brand new Battle Royale-inspired mode called Blackout.
