Call of Duty: Mobile launched back in October. It's a free-to-play first-person shooter for mobile devices — specifically those of iOS and Android. Since then, developer TiMi Studios has continued to introduce post-launch content such as new characters, skins, maps, weapons, modes, and more. It's now time to welcome a classic.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's second season of post-launch content also introduced this classic map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. On that note; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer is currently free-to-play — find out more on that here. However, back to the topic at hand. It's Rust! Everybody's favourite place to hold 1v1 sniper-only matches.
The classic multiplayer map will be added to the mobile game with its next update — that being in a week's time at the very beginning of May. This information comes courtesy of Activision (via Activision Blog). Below you can check out some official images of the iconic location in Call of Duty: Mobile as well as an official description of the map itself:
Rust is a small sized map set in an oil yard in the desert. The large central tower overlooks a field of pipes, fuel, shipping containers, and other industrial features. The tower’s top platform offers a near total view of the map below and because of that is such a highly valued power position. Race up the south-facing exhaust chute or climb a ladder to reach the top. It’s a high risk, high reward action that will tempt someone every match.
Call of Duty®: Mobile is a new free-to-play game that brings together the maps, weapons and characters from across the Call of Duty® series in the definitive first-person action experience on mobile.
Call of Duty: Mobile is out now for iOS and Android devices.
