DESTINY 2: Nightfall Stikes Will Be Timed And More Details Revealed
More details on Bungie's Destiny 2 continue to trickle out as the countdown to the highly anticipated sequel's September 6 release enters its final days.
Subscribers to Edge Magazine have taken to the Destiny subreddit to reveal new infromatino that was disclosed about Destiny 2 in the latest issue. It seems Nightfall Strikes will now be timed, so that means no more camping out and carefully chipping away at enemy health bars. Take too long and you'll have to begin anew. Edge's coverage also says the various Strikes will have different time limits.
Other juicy info divulged incudes:

supers, grenades and special ammo will recharge and regenerate faster than what gamer's experineced during the Beta

there's an addiitonal skill or ability for the Hunter class that had Edge happy but Bungie was not allowing them to reveal what it is yet

another change from the Beta. Enemies with elemental shields will explode and damage nearby enemies when the shield is depleted

the launch game will have over 80 PvE missions, and each are substantial in length and rewards

development focus on Destiny 2 was on content and not level progression and the team actually had to dial things back a bit

for certain high-level strikes, class and weapon/gear loadouts will be restricted
