Bethesda announced
Fallout 76 during this year's E3, which is the newest entry in the
Fallout series, and promises to have players going online and exploring, building, going on quests, either solo or with other players. The game will be releasing on the
14th of November for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Fallout 76 is a fully realised
Fallout game that will focus on online Multiplayer without sacrificing the Solo compaign, which can be played alone from the beginning. As opposed to other Bethesda games like
The Elder Scrolls Online,
Fallout 76's online servers will consist of only 12-or-so players that will be exploring on a map 4 times bigger than the one found in
Fallout 4, so even if players choose to go online, it will still like a solo experience for a big portion of the session—if not the entirety of it.
The story in
Fallout 76 is be set twenty five years after the nuclear bombs fall—and over 200 years before any of the other entriesin the series—as the Vault 76 is opened and lets its dwellers emerge into post-nuclear America, more precisely in West Virginia. Today, Bethesda has released the gameplay video shown at this year's E3 showcase, which shows off
Vault 76, some of the game's regions, and some of its creatures based on West Virginia folklore.
