The upcoming
Fallout 76 is a fascinating beast. While many players have been wondering what Bethesda will do next with the
Fallout brand hoping to see a proper sequel to
Fallout 4, the publisher has decided to produce a multiplayer title that allows 12 players explore a map that's 4 times bigger than
Fallout 4's
as each have to emerge from the "control" Vault 76 to rebuild the wasteland outside.
Bethesda has released a brand new live action trailer for
Fallout 76 that focuses on the playful side of the ongoing apocalypse. While the trailer is one of the best commercials you'll this year, it doesn't have much to do with the established
Fallout lore, and most importantly, tone. One would think that Bethesda took too much inspiration from their own
Rage 2 and
Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII.
Set to the tune of the Beach Boys classic
Wouldn’t It Be Nice, the trailer features a bunch of happy people that have a bloody good time killing monsters and looking at the undeniable beauty of bombing the world. PS4 and PC owners will have a chance to check out
Fallout 76 really soon, as the B.E.T.A. is finally coming to those systems tomorrow. In the meantime, be sure to check out the trailer below:
Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Skyrim and Fallout 4, welcome you to Fallout 76, the online prequel where every surviving human is a real person.
