Fortnite's "Boogiedown" contest has come to an end, and Epic has announced the winners of the competition that will ultimately lead to a new dance emote in the game.
Before we get to the winners, a little background.
The Boogiedown was a contest in which fans could submit videos of their best dance moves with the chance to win in-game prizes and even have your dance created as an emote in
Battle Royale. Judging was based on "fun, originality, and creativity" of the dance.
Over on the Epic blog you can find an entire list of all 100 winners, but the video below showcases the runner ups as well as the Boogiedown winner.
The winner of Boogie down was
@Populotus whose dance will become an official emote within
Fortnite Battle Royale. Other "winners" will receive V-Bucks and other in-game cosmetics.
In other news, it was recently revealed that Ashland University, a small nonprofit university in Ohio, will give a $4,000 scholarship for top
Fortnite players who want to join the school's eSports team. More details
