Two players of Fortnite Battle Royale tied for the 33rd place in the finals of the Summer Skirmish: The_Real_Cryohme and SGG Colton.
The minimum prize was about $5,000 (about €4325) and the possibility of the winner taking home a total of $225,000 (approximately € 94,000).
However, only 33 players could advance towards the final stage. So Epic Games had to decide the real end with a coin flip.
The_Real_Cryohme and SGG Colton executed a perfect equalizer in all possible categories in the four qualifying matches. They had the same number of victories, the same number of eliminations and the same position.
The commentators joked at first with both users to perform some kind of dance but, in the end, everything was decided with a coin flip.
Unfortunately for SGG Colton, The_Real_Cryohme was the one who won the coin toss, the $5,000 and the opportunity to compete in the grand final.
Fortnite is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mobile and PC.
