Explore The Hostile And Fallen World Of METRO: EXODUS In This Chilling Story Trailer
Narrated from the perspective of Anna, the Spartan Order’s top sniper and Artyom’s wife, Metro: Exodus' chilling story trailer puts the spotlight on the ruins of Moscow and life beyond the titular metro...
Metro: Exodus is one of the most anticipated games of the year, as 4A Games are not only universally skilled graphics designers, but also excellent story-tellers (there's a reason why Exodus won many "Best of E3 2018" awards), and there’s no doubt that Exodus will be one of the best-looking video games in recent memory with 4A Games' beautifully realized vision of the fallen, radioactive Russia.
The recently released story trailer for Exodus focuses on that ruined country and Moscow. Narrated from the perspective of Anna, the Spartan Order’s top sniper and Artyom’s wife, the trailer explores the world that lies in wait for the crew of the Aurora as they flee the ruins of Moscow and embark on an year-long journey travelling by the heavily modified locomotive using the Trans-Siberian Railway.
Artyom's faith that there was life beyond the metro will be one of the main plotpoints, as his hopes and dreams will be put to the ultimate test in the crucible of the Russian wastelands. Exodus has gone gold, which basically means that the title is finished and 4A Games can work on the post-launch support and day-one patch. Be sure to take a closer look at Exodus' story trailer down below:
The year is 2036. A quarter-century after nuclear war devastated the earth, a few thousand survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro. They have struggled against the poisoned elements, fought mutated beasts and paranormal horrors, and suffered the flames of civil war. But now, as Artyom, you must flee the Metro and lead a band of Spartan Rangers on an incredible, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in search of a new life in the East. Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created.
Metro: Exodus will be releasing on February 15, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
