4A Games' Metro: Exodus finally launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via the Epic Games store, which means that Exodus is yet another major video game that won't be available on Steam at launch) this Friday, giving all fans of Dmitry Glukhovsky's best-selling Metro 2035 novel, and also the critically acclaimed game series, a unique chance to experience the final chapter in Artyom's story.

In Exodus, the brave hero, his wife, and those who dare to leave the titular metro, will try to reach the only safe place in the universe: Vladivostok. Together, they will embark on a year-long journey, discovering the life beyond the dark Moscow Metro stations. During their grand expedition, the brave few will explore ruined cities, radioactive swarms, and even the dried up canyons of the Caspian Sea.

Publisher Deep Silver has released a new trailer for Metro: Exodus, focused on the special weapons you'll use to fight mutated monsters and other groups of survivors. Be sure to check it out down below:

The year is 2036. A quarter-century after nuclear war devastated the earth, a few thousand survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro. They have struggled against the poisoned elements, fought mutated beasts and paranormal horrors, and suffered the flames of civil war. But now, as Artyom, you must flee the Metro and lead a band of Spartan Rangers on an incredible, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in search of a new life in the East. Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created.

Metro: Exodus will be releasing on February 15, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
