After many tournaments, last year's world cup and fan outcry; changes have come.
International teams will now have their own skins or kits to add significant visual variety to the action; allowing commentators and spectators to follow the frantic team-fights with more understanding of what is going on. In the past, its been almost impossible to follow a zipping either team's zipping Tracers with only a red or blue outline to differentiate them. These skins or kits will also change the colour of projectiles, ultimates, scoreboards, bullets and just about everything else associated with the characters, so you won't get confused over which Zarya just launched her Graviton Surge. Team kits have been slowly revealed for the upcoming Overwatch League as well, so this World Cup could act as a trial.
New Broadcast Tools have been brought in as well!
Instant Replays are coming to Overwatch, allowing spectators to pause and freely look around during big plays such as team wipes or clutch plays to truly inspect and understand the action.
