The fearsome General Grievous, leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems’ droid army, has arrived in
Star Wars: Battlefront II with today's update. A skilled warrior and tactician, General Grievous was trained in the Jedi arts by Count Dooku to hunt down Jedi.
General Grievous costs 35,000 credits to purchase and is not available via crystals. He also comes with an additional "Battle Damaged" appearance, classified as Rare, that costs 20,000 credits or 500 crystals. A second appearance for General Grievous will be available in November. The video below showcases General Grievous' abilities and touches upon other changes included in today's update.
As the video notes, upgraded Health Star Cards have replaced some of the lesser used Hero Star Cards. There are now two types of Health Star Cards: a generic "Health of Defeat" card for Boba Fett, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Kylo Ren, and Darth Maul, and a "Defeat with Ability" card for Chewbacca, Yoda, Finn, and Captain Phasma. "Health of Defeat" restores a small portion of health when a hero defeats an enemy while "Defeat with Ability" only rewards health if a specific ability was used to defeat the enemy. Specific details regarding Hero Health Star Card changes as well as patch notes for today's update can be found on the
Star Wars: Battlefront II website.
Looking further ahead,
Obi-Wan Kenobi will join the battlefront with his Jedi Master Appearance with the November update. This will be the final update for
Star Wars: Battlefront II for 2018, with new content picking back up in January 2019.
Star Wars: Battlefront II is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
