It has been quite a journey since Tom Clancy's The Division’s launch on March 8, 2016. During that time, Ubisoft introduced three major expansions alongside streams of free content updates for players with one goal in mind - to deliver the game Ubisoft Massive has promised, a truly unique open world-RPG experience, and that strategy pays off as over 20 million players have played it since the launch.

April's Update 1.8.1 included the Xbox One X patch and the implementation of Classified drop rate, two new Legendary modes alongside a new limited-time Global Event: Blackout, which brought new modifiers, vanity masks, and another chance at winning Classified gear-sets. The players also had a chance to face Onslaught, a "Deal, Burn, Bleed," event that ended just two days ago.

In June, Update 1.8.2 will introduce two more Legendary mission modes and bring back Global Event: Outbreak. This update also marks the beginning of the brand new Shields monthly feature, in which achievements earned playing The Division will grant special rewards in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. The last event, Ambush will be available in September, and what's coming after that is a mystery...

We live in a complex world. The more advanced it gets, the more vulnerable it becomes. We’ve created a house of cards: remove just one, and everything falls apart. Black Friday – a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, these agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society. When society falls, we rise.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is live now across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4!
